Club Colonia

Who can participate: All individuals residing in the Argentine Republic or the Oriental Republic of Uruguay may participate in the program, provided they have previously enrolled in the program through the designated channels.


Registration process: Participants may register by completing a form on the company's website. The account is personal and non-transferable.


Acceptance of terms: In all cases, acceptance of the Program's Terms and Conditions is required. Such acceptance implies full knowledge and unconditional acceptance of each and every one of the conditions of this Program. Each participant/account holder is responsible for being aware of these Program conditions and any updates, which will be periodically published on the company's website, at which time they will become effective and users will be deemed to have been notified.

Objective: To recognize the company's frequent travelers, rewarding them with pesos to redeem for Colonia Express products or others if available.

How points are earned: Points will be considered as pesos, and are assigned for each river ticket that the participant/holder purchases and uses with the Company. Upon earning points, the participant/holder may accumulate them in a personal account assigned to their name.

Loading condition: Only the person who has loaded their Customer Number before the booking payment will accumulate points. This account will accumulate the points corresponding to that entire purchase. Please note that it is no longer possible to associate previously created bookings that do not have a membership number associated with Club Colonia Express.

Information consultation: Account information consists of the data that the Program participant/holder can consult on the website or through customer service (by phone or in person). It will display the amount of available Colonia Express Points, the corresponding account movements, and all valid information regarding the account.

Security: The participant/holder agrees to maintain strict confidentiality of their personal password, taking the necessary measures to do so. The account participant/holder assumes full responsibility for any consequence that may arise from the inappropriate use of the access password, including disclosure and any other conduct that does not align with that of a responsible and good business person.

Points redemption: The redemption of points can only be done in person, by phone, or by logging into the website www.coloniaexpress.com with a username and password. For this redemption, the participant/holder must choose among the prizes listed in the prize catalog at the time of the operation, provided they have accumulated the necessary amount of pesos for them, and have completed and/or updated in all its terms the data required in the Program membership application.
a) Each time pesos are redeemed, they will be deducted from the account statement according to the value published in the Catalog at the time of redemption.
b) Prizes are subject to availability. The participant/holder and beneficiary expressly acknowledge and accept that the quota of tickets to be used for prizes is limited.
c) The redemption of pesos for company products or services cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount codes, or discounts available at the time of redemption.
d) Once points have been applied as partial payment in a booking, no refund of these points will be made.
Passengers who cannot travel in these cases must adhere to the terms and conditions of the purchased fare.

Points expiration: Pesos will be valid for 6 months from the date of assignment, which indicates that Points will expire if they have not been used within the specified period. The expiration period is not subject to interruption by any act. Upon the expiration and/or maturity of Colonia Express pesos, they will lose their value and will be deducted from the participant/holder's account statement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company reserves the right to unilaterally modify the validity period of the points, with no other obligation than to inform of its decision on the company's website at least 30 days in advance.

Exclusions and restrictions:
a) Points are only valid to be redeemed through the website, the Company's telephone customer service center, or in person at the redemption center(s) established for that purpose, during the period determined by the Company in accordance with the EARNING AND REDEMPTION PERIOD section of these “Terms and Conditions”. Under no circumstances can they be exchanged for cash.
b) Prizes redeemed by participants/holders will not be refundable, fully or partially, for cash or for other Pesos, and will be governed by the Terms and Conditions of the redeemed products from that moment on. Once points have been applied as partial payment in a booking, no refund of these points will be made. Passengers who cannot travel in these cases must adhere to the terms and conditions of the purchased fare.
c) When pesos are used to pay for bookings, promotions or discounts cannot be applied. Pesos from the redemption account cannot be combined with current promotions.
d) Colonia Express Points do not grant their participant/holder any right that is not expressly recognized throughout this document. The rights they grant can be modified at any time by the Company.

Prize substitution: In the event that it is not possible to deliver the requested prize due to causes beyond the Company's control, the Company reserves the right to replace it with another prize of equal or similar characteristics. The Company reserves the right to modify, add, or cancel any prize without prior notice.

Fees and taxes: Fees and taxes in effect at the time of redemption will be the responsibility of the passengers and will not be included in the prizes. All expenses and costs that the participant/holder may incur to claim and/or collect their prize will be their responsibility.

Scope and channels: Exclusive benefit only for Club Colonia members. For purchases to be made through Points of Sale, call center, and WhatsApp (Argentina and Uruguay). Valid for travel within one year from the date of purchase.

Purchase conditions: Valid for the purchase of 3 or 5 round-trip journeys to Montevideo, Colonia, and/or Buenos Aires. The ticket is issued open for a single holder and applies to travel on all frequencies, subject to available quotas per frequency (20). The price informed includes fees and taxes. Each Club Colonia member must purchase or redeem their coupon book through the website assigned for user registration.

Changes, modifications, and refunds: Modification of date and time is permitted without penalty. Ticket redemption can be completed during boarding, but modifications cannot be made. Refunds are permitted with a 30% retention fee of the paid fare, provided no redemptions have been made.

Specific restrictions: Validity extension: Not permitted. Change of ownership: Not permitted. Coupon book redemptions do not earn points in Club Colonia, as they are processed at no cost.

General regulations: The Program is governed entirely by the conditions of the frequent traveler program “Club Colonia Express” (hereinafter the “Program Conditions”). The program conditions and their updates, and therefore their application, will be those published at any given time on the company's website www.coloniaexpress.com. The Program will be effective as of November 10, 2018 (hereinafter the “Term”). In the event that the Company decides to terminate or modify the Program, it will inform members by publishing it on the website.

Territory: The Program will be valid in the territory of the Argentine Republic and in the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.

Acceptance: Participation in this Program implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, as well as the decisions adopted by the Company on any matter provided or not provided for therein, which will be adopted in accordance with the law, without prejudice to which due intervention will be given, when appropriate, to the corresponding enforcement authorities.

Program modifications: The organizers reserve the right to modify the program conditions or to cancel it fully or partially, without the need to issue any notification to adherents and/or Participants/Holders other than the publication of such decision on the website. In any case, all adherents and/or participants/holders will be considered notified of the new program conditions by their inclusion on the Program website. The program conditions applicable at any given time will be those published at that moment on the Program website. The Company reserves the right to suspend the participation of any participant in the Program and/or the delivery of Points and/or sending of correspondence in the event that participants/Holders fully or partially breach the Terms and Conditions established herein. Likewise, the Company reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend fully or partially, or modify the Program, and/or the conditions of the prize catalog and/or its point conversions. In any of these cases, the Company will communicate through the Program website any change it decides to make regarding the Program in general. The Company's decisions on each and every one of the matters provided for in the Program will be final and unappealable, and will not generate any right to claims by the participant/holder.

Use of image and data protection: By their sole participation, participants/holders authorize the Company, without this generating any right to compensation, to broadcast their images, voices, and names for advertising and/or institutional purposes, in the media and forms that the Company determines, during the term of the Program and up to 3 (three) years after its completion. The Company guarantees compliance with the terms of Law 25326 on habeas data in the Argentine Republic and Law 18331 in the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.

Responsibility: The Company is not responsible for any personal or material damage or loss (direct, indirect, and/or consequential) that participants/holders and/or third parties might suffer by reason of or on the occasion of their participation in the Program and/or withdrawal and/or redemption of Colonia Express Pesos and/or their use, once they have been assigned. Everything concerning the redemption of assigned Points will be governed by the rules stipulated by the center that processed it.

Jurisdiction and dispute resolution: Any conflict or controversy derived from the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions of the Club Colonia Express Program and its decisions will be unappealable. Any legal matter that may arise from the execution of the Program will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in case of residence in Argentina, and to the ordinary courts of the City of Montevideo in case of residence in Uruguay, with participants expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them.
