MODIFICATIONS: The express fare ticket can only be modified up to 48 hours before the travel date, paying a penalty for the difference between the original ticket and the Classic Fare at the time of the change. Only 1 (one) change per ticket is admissible. Once the change has been made, no refunds can be requested.
REFUNDS: Classic fare tickets can only be refunded up to 24 hours before the travel date. It will be subject to a 30% withholding on the original value. After that point, and as long as the tickets have not been used, they will be open for 6 months from the date of purchase. Refunds will be made at the same office and in the same currency as the ticket was purchased. Refunds will be made in person at the office where the tickets were purchased.
MODIFICATIONS: In case of a no-show with no prior notice, you can make a one-time modification of your tickets within 6 months from the date of purchase. Passengers must pay an extra charge only if at the time of change there is a difference between the fare acquired initially and the current one. Only 1 (one) change per ticket is admissible. After a change is required, no refunds can be requested.
REMARKS: The terms and conditions of the classic fare only apply when the fare was purchased as such in the first instance. Tickets that have been modified because they come from other fares will not be governed by these terms and conditions, but on those of the original fares.
REFUNDS: Up to 24 hours from the date of purchase 100% of the value acquired as tickets will be refunded. Then up to 5 calendar days following the date of purchase with a 30% withholding after 24 hours. Returns will be made in the same place, form and currency in which the tickets were purchased.
MODIFICATIONS: Once the date has been marked, it cannot be modified. Passengers must take this point into account when requesting to mark an open passage at a specific date and time.

The terms and conditions for vehicle hold will be the same as those for tickets, according to the category of fare purchased.
As for the modifications due to damage to or theft of the vehicle, it may be made up to 2 hours before the date of travel paying the difference between the fare originally purchased and the classic fare valid at the time of the change and showing proof of such damage or theft.
Changes may be made only once per ticket regardless of the causes.

Pets (small pets) are allowed on our boat service without extra charge. They must be placed in the kennels located in the ship's hold during the trip, or transported in kennels suitable for travel provided by owners. Depending on the specific animal, and complying with the safety of passengers on board, animal owners may be requested to travel with their pet in the areas of the boat authorized for the carriage of pets.
If traveling with a vehicle, pets may remain inside the vehicles during the trip.
Entry into Uruguay from member countries of MERCOSUR, America and Europe: a health certificate stating the condition of the animal and rabies vaccine shall be required from the Ministry of Livestock in the country of origin to enter the country with cats or dogs. The animal and sanitary certification will be presented at the Office of Animal Health under the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries upon entering Uruguayan territory
Entry from other countries: an entry authorization must be previously requested in Uruguay to establish the sanitary conditions to be met by the country of origin to enter the country with cats or dogs. 20 In the case of buses, Uruguayan legislation strictly forbids the carriage of pets inside the passenger cabin, so they must be transported in kennels suitable for transfer in the luggage hold.

Reservations may be canceled with a 30% deduction of the total value of the package, as long as a 72-hour notice before the start of the trip is received, on dates other than holidays or long weekends, and unless it is a promotion, which will invalidate this point completely. If check in is made on a Long Weekend or Holiday, the package can only be canceled with a prior notification 7 business days before the start of the trip, and will be subject to a 30% deduction.
If the package was paid in cash, 35% of the total value of the package will be deducted, as per the terms indicated in the previous paragraph. After 72 hours of the start of the trip, you will lose the total value of the package.
100% Refunds will only apply for the first 24 hours from the date of purchase, as long as the travel start date is 72 hours prior to the departure date.
Reservations can only be modified if modification is requested at least 72 hours before the date of the trip. When check in for the reservation is on a long weekend and/or holiday, modifications will be possible up to 7 days before check-in. POLICY ON QUOTES AND FARE LOCK:
Quotes will be respected for a period of 24 hours. After this, and if reservation was not yet paid (30% of the total purchase), reservations may be modified.
Quotes and fare locks for both tickets and tourist services, will only be effective when paying 30% of the total of the reservation and obtaining proof of payment or effective accreditation of such payment. Quotes and fare locks for of group room reservations will be kept up to 15 days before the reservation date and must be confirmed by paying 100% of the reservation. Otherwise, the reservation paid will have no effect, and passengers will lose the amount paid.

Boarding passes will be printed at the time of check in after presenting the documentation required to travel.

Any claim arising from this ticket and/or as a result of the trip will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Federal Courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The laws of the Argentine Republic or the Oriental Republic of Uruguay (depending on where the ticket was purchased) will apply exclusively to any claim that arises related to the trip and to any claim under the terms of this Ticket Contract.
Any claim for luggage, lesions or death will be subject to the 1974 Athens Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea ("Athens Convention"), as incorporated in the internal law of the Argentine Republic. The Athens Convention offers provisions for the limitation of liability relating to claims for luggage, injury or death.
SHIPS: The company does not offer a baggage handling service so luggage shall remain in their possession at all times, and it will be the sole responsibility of the passenger to take care of it, which is transported at the risk of the passenger. The company shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for possible loss and/or damage that may occur.
BUSES: The hand luggage that passengers keep with them during the transport, meaning luggage that does not go on the hold, regardless of whether it is land or sea transport, will be the sole responsibility of the passenger, and will be transported at their own risk, and the company will not be responsible under any circumstances for any possible loss and/or damage that may occur. All other luggage, that is, the luggage at the hold, and for which the passenger has the obligation to keep the receipt, must contain only the personal effects necessary for the trip, and the carrier company will only be held responsible in case of loss and/or damage to the luggage up to a maximum amount of US$200 (two hundred US dollars), an amount which is hereby accepted as valuation by the passenger. In the event of transportation of valuables in excess of the amount indicated, passengers must make a declaration of value before baggage handling, in which case the carrier will be free to accept or not to transport such valuables.
All goods transported as customs exemption, must have the corresponding declaration for the DNA, or Lumary SA otherwise reserves the right to accept the simple declaration of the passenger as valid. To make the request for compensation for lost or damaged luggage dispatched on the hold, passengers must present to the company the corresponding proof of baggage handling.

• Uruguayan citizens can travel with the Uruguayan Identity Card (valid, in good condition, legible and with recognizable photo), or with a valid passport.

Documentation required for minors to leave the country:
• Children under 18 (Uruguayans or foreigners residing in Uruguay, whether permanently, temporarily or in the process of receiving residency in the country), must have the authorization of both parents to travel abroad, as established by the current regulations of the National Migration Department of the Ministry of Interior of Uruguay.
